Planted in 1981 alongside the original winery, this vineyard has long been a benchmark site, consistently producing Chardonnay of depth, structure and precision. The 2024 release captures a classic expression of this vineyard. Fruit is carefully selected across multiple picks to reflect subtle variations within the block, resulting in a wine that combines purity, complexity and balance. Fermented with wild yeast and matured in French oak (with a significant proportion of new oak), the wine develops both texture and structure. Full malolactic fermentation and extended time on lees build richness, while the natural acidity and mineral profile keep everything tightly framed. This is a serious Chardonnay.
