Byrne Farm Chardonnay 2024 is sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the cool-climate region of Orange, New South Wales. Grown at approximately 900 metres above sea level, the vineyard produces Chardonnay with exceptional freshness, purity and natural acidity. The warmer 2024 season delivered concentrated fruit while maintaining the region’s signature elegance. Handpicked fruit was whole bunch pressed before fermentation and maturation in large French oak, creating a wine with both texture and finesse. Careful oak integration adds complexity while allowing the fruit and site character to remain the focus. Fresh, vibrant and beautifully balanced, this Chardonnay combines orchard fruit flavours with flinty complexity and mineral drive, making it enjoyable now while also offering excellent cellaring potential.
